Costco / CBC / Control Source · What we built, where it runs, what is left

The foundation is built and running in your systems. What remains is small, and mostly waiting on a decision.

This is the engineering companion to the benchmark deck. It shows every system we touched, what we connected, what is live in your production today, and an honest estimate of the time to finish the rest. It reads in four states:

The headline: the corrections themselves are mostly merges, a release, and a few access or approval decisions. The clock is set by those decisions, not by build time. Nothing in this deck is a promised date; time ranges are honest estimates for the work itself.

CBC & NextRevyour original ask · June 9
Robin's kickoff · June 9, 2026

Your original ask, and where to see it

The June 9 go-ahead was three things: two dedicated URLs, one landing page for small group and individual only, and Amplitude tracking of the activity. Here is where each of those three stands. Your own analytics showed the drop-off was across the whole quote path, not just the landing page, so we rebuilt the entire path for both, not a single page.

All three are answered, and from there the work went well past the original ask: marketing source on every deal, a first speed fix and the checkout freeze fix live in production, and a scored recovery pool of quoted-not-closed leads. The rest of this deck is that work.

Everything on this page is running in CBC systems today, delivered before any agreement was signed.

CBC & NextRevevidence · check any of it yourself

Evidence that it is working

The same verification is what flags what is not yet done on the next pages: the cbcins Small Group engine is still serial, and the individual checkout fix is live but not yet merged to master. Honest both ways, and every line above is checkable in your own systems or your own code.

Estimates are for the work itself, not commitments to a date. Items marked "gated" start when the decision or access clears; several run in parallel.

CBC & NextRevthe plan, with time on it

The plan to finish, with rough durations

  1. This week · days  Close the remaining merges and the cbcins Small Group speed review. Trace the two funnel bugs. Mostly your dev's time; ours is ready.
  2. Weeks 1–2 · 1–2 wk  Speed round two: the first-page-fast spec and the cbcins Small Group speed, plus the before/after percentiles once telemetry access lands.
  3. Weeks 2–4 · 2–4 wk  Turn on revenue recovery: name the owner, clear counsel, start working the 2,812-lead list, and stand up sold-by-source reporting once a write credential exists.
  4. Weeks 3–6 · 3–6 wk  Ship the new phone-first quote funnels and the site remake: review with the team, wire to the engine, deploy.
  5. Ongoing  Security execution on the delivered runbook, marketing tagging adoption, and the cbcins tracking install once privacy signs off.
Almost none of the remaining time is build time we control. It is merges, a release, an access decision, a counsel sign-off, and a named owner. Clear each gate and we move the same day.
